Situated in the heart of the old conversation area this 1800’s house was dramatically extended from its modest 1200 sq ft to over 1700 sq ft. Appointed over 3 floors our development maximised and modernised the living space without compromising the character of the property to create a beautiful family home.
The cottage was extended both above and below ground, extending the existing cellar to the rear of the property and increasing the floor to ceiling height, two full depth light wells, complete with bi-fold doors and separate access were added to create a light filled flexible space.
The upper floors comprise of a spacious family friendly living area, open plan kitchen and dining room, large crittal doors lead out to the landscaped rear garden, creating an environment perfect for entertaining family and friends.
