Dower was established in 2009, following a successful development of a grade II listed property. We develop luxurious homes across the south of England, expertly project managed by professionals to the most exacting standards.

LIAM DOWER (MCIOB)

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Our Managing Director & Chartered Builder Liam Dower has over two decades of experience in property, construction, and development. Starting his career working for a leading international engineering construction company, Liam progressed onto working in central London for a prominent interior designer, delivering classic and contemporary interiors within prime property desired by ultra-high net worth and celebrity clients. 

Liam has a multi-disciplined background having worked on residential projects large and small, above- and below-ground since 2009. He has considerable expertise that extends to working in conservation areas and on listed buildings. Liam spends his time setting the vision and strategic direction of the company whilst looking after our investors, despite this you won’t keep him away from checking in on sites!

CLAIRE Dower

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Claire's creative history stems from a young age – her grandparents owned and managed the Luton Hat factory, one of the world's leading producers of fine hats. the business was eventually sold to Kangol where they continued the tradition for many years. 

This early influence drove Claire to pursue a career in fashion. Having graduated from the London College of Fashion, she worked at multiple fashion magazines and leading fashion brands such as Ted Baker, before joining us as Creative Director. Working with the Dower team, Claire achieves a high-end finish with unique interiors, delivering outstanding Dower developments.

Georgina Higgens

FINANCE MANAGER

Georgina joined the company in September 2025 as Finance Manager. With over a decade of experience in accounting and finance systems, and a strong background working for construction and plant hire companies, she plays a key role in supporting the financial management of the business. Georgina is also part qualified ACCA.

JAN BIELIK

SITE MANAGER

Experienced and hands-on Site manager with over 20 years in residential and commercial construction across London. Skilled in managing teams, coordinating site operations, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Strong background in RC frames, steel structures, underpinning, drainage, and basement construction. Reliable, and practical, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to solve problems quickly — usually before the coffee goes cold.

FINLEY

CHIEF HAPPINESS OFFICER

Finley joined the team in March 2026 and has already made an enormous impact on office morale. As our resident Irish Setter, he takes his role as Chief Happiness Officer very seriously — ensuring every working day begins with a wagging tail, a warm welcome, and the occasional stolen biscuit. 

When he's not conducting his daily welfare checks on the team, Finley can be found charging around the countryside, discovering new smells, and perfecting his puppy eyes. He brings boundless energy, unconditional enthusiasm, and a reminder that sometimes the best response to a challenging day is a good walk.
